My husband is a volenter(SP?) fire fighter in a small town. He is in two dertments. He hardly home. His work, his dad's ranch, and the two fire dertments to keep him busy. We barely see each other on the weekdays. He works at a mill and the swing shift, Like 3 PM to 1 AM. His family is in one of the departments, and he will never leave. He keeps saying that he will quit the other fire department and he never does. I kept asking when he is going to do it but that only annoyed him.So, quit asking him if he was going to quit. A couple weeks ago, he had a game to go to and he was sick. I said I think you should stay home and just rest. He said that he was still going. I felt that the fire department is more importane then me. Last year, I wanted to do something for my b-day but he just schaled a meeting that weekend. I was really hurt and sad. What do I do. I just want more of his time. When ever I ask more of his time, he gets pissed at me and says "Don't start." then walks off. HELP!!!!!

I'm building this machine which will enable user to change the speed of the motor, rather frequently. The motor may have to work in speeds much lower than its maximum speed for long periods or even always. Should I use a DC motor with electronics to control the speed? Or an AC motor coupled with an inverter?

My guess is that Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald would be part of this discussion. They would certainly be very high on the list in terms of music in the English language.

I ask 'what singer is the most prolific' because there would be many instrumentalists in the world of jazz and classical who have appeared on hundreds of recordings. But it would be interesting to know facts about their recording careers as well.

When i see the old movie classics that is why i wanted to smoke .It looked so dramatic to me and wanted to smoke like them. I was so influenced watching how they light and smoked it.Especially my idol Bette Davis.She is gone but her cigarettes will live on. I no longer find it fashionable.

I know we all have to age. I was thinking about how oxygen is a poison to us- as we're using so much energy to remove it somehow..maybe nonrobots can help us in the future repairing our damaged tissues...maybe regenerative medicine or...maybe downloading our concious in ~50 yrs will help us stay on earth a while longer... I just wanna know what you think about it, any opinions/comments/answers in general...cause 100 years to me..is a very short time...It'd be really good if we were able to be young forever....
