An ideal student is one that works hard to achieve their goal. Utilises their time wisely, but also acknowledges and appreciates the time that others invest in their learning, especially tutors. Is not arrogant or boastful, even when top of the class. Is conscious of their fellow students needs and aspirations and assists where possible in the same way that they would appreciate assistance if the shoe were on the other foot.
Best wishes, J

Yes. The ideal student doesn't wait until 400AM the night before the speech is due to begin researching it. DUH. Just take a good look at yourself, and everything that you AREN'T--that is what an ideal student is.
