I was out with an attractive Indian man and he told me he only started dating last year when he was 28 yrs. old. He came to America from India when he was 22, been in the U.S. for 7 yrs. completed his masters and now doing his Ph.D.. He says due to his conservative upbringing and Indian culture, it's not unsual to start dating at such a late age. I find this something unbelievable and skeptical at best. If you are an Indian male who relocated to the U.S. to pursue a higher education...

3.) Is it the norm to start dating when you are in your mid-20's?

What do you call, and be polite now, people from Connecticut?

It is a strange thing. You have Yankees for New Englanders, as you have New Englanders for New Englanders. Massholes for Massachusettalitarians, Utahans for people of Utah, Oregonians for Oregon. In the Pacific NW my hometown we were called Moscovites...But Connecticutchinos, what of them? What should they be called...Or really those from New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.

doctor patient ethics? what are some laws? please help!?

i have a friend (NO! its not me) who is getting a little too close to her doctor. he is a PHD psychologists and is seeing her for depression and help with her out of control son. they have developed a friendship and now she wants to divorce her husband saying she was never in love with him! this doctor is into the "hollistic" theory and is a regular hippy. in fact, he is a piligamist with two wifes and is about to have a third this summer. my friend thinks this guy walks on water and is her savior. she spends weekend over there rather than at home with her husband. they have barbeques, drink together, have parties, etc. she spent the holidays with their family instead of her own!!!! i think she is being brainwashed by a "jim jones" wannabe cult leader and he is detroying her life rather than helping her. my gut tells me he has a hidden agenda. where can i find laws on ethically correct practice for doctors? any websites? none of this sounds right and i need proof that it isnt .

Record sleeve... blue and red colours... wobble sleeve for moment and image still keeps moving ?

Some one once showed me record sleeve... where if you wobbled it for a moment in your hands.. then stopped... the red and blue colours of the image on the sleeve continued to move around for a few moments.

Optical illusion. I think it was a mod-type band from late 70s. Anyone know the name by chance ? Or the name of this optical illusion effect ? I think it only works with a certain type of red colour and a certain type of blue colour combined together.

isnt the minium wage set to keep business' from paying next to nothing, not for people to live on?

the govenrment wants to raise the wage but its not meant to be lived on who can even live on $7.25. is'nt the min wage for high school kids, college students and for a supplementry income. i think this is a mistake by the government and i think it will huet small business more than it will help out part time workers what do think?
