I am planning to stay in a hotel in thirsk and would like to know how far it is so i know how long the journey will be, etc

It about 65 miles depending from which part of Hull you travel from. Did you know that the town used to be called Wyke which also was the same name as the river until it was given the Royal Charter where it was renamed as Kingston-Upon-Hull?
