My girlfriends father passed away from a heart attack a few years ago. Then her mother just had two attacks. Does that mean she is likely to have one too?

My best friend's husband quit working for us and owes us $2500 for money he borrowed, $1000 of which was borrowed 3 days after he quit. The deal was he was to pay it back after he got his first check in full or work it off on his days off. He never called back or worked any of it off, so after 6 weeks I wrote an email and asked why hasn't he bothered calling, paying or working since he quit? His wife is my best friend and she avoided me also. In my email I reminded him of all of the good things we did for him...his job, helping out financially when needed, invitation for an all expense paid ski trip for he and his wife, paying for everything when we go out...etc and then told him the things he did wrong like not working overtime when we really needed him (1 week after he borrowed money the first time) because he was bbq for his family, missing a lot of work and lying on his timesheet about his overtime hours. His wife read the email and cursed me out and will not speak to me.

Thinking Like a Chief



Once on Liberty, some of my Shipmates and some of the Officers and I went to a Gentleman's Club. A
Lieutenant who had tagged along wanted to impress the rest of us, so he pulled out a $10
bill.

When the dancer came over to us, the Lieutenant licked the $10 bill and
stuck it to her butt cheek!

Not to be outdone, a Commander pulls out a $20 bill. He calls the girl
back over, licks the $20 bill, and sticks it to her other butt cheek.

In an attempt to further impress the rest of us, the Captain pulls out a
$50 bill and calls the girl over, and licks the bill and stuck it to one
of her butt cheeks, again.

Seeing the way things are going, the girl gyrates over to me! Now
everyone's attention is focused on me, and the girl's egging me on to
try to top the $50. My brain was churning as I reached for my wallet.
What could I do?

At that moment the Chief in me took over! I got out my ATM card, swiped
it down the crack of her butt, grabbed the 80 bucks, and went to the
bar.

Another question that needs to be addressed. No matter how many times I write the answer, there are no grants for start-up businesses unless they are scientific, defense, or technology R&D firms, people on here still ask how they can get a grant for a business. Please explain why they cant, with hopes that people will get it! Once again, People you really cannot get a grant for a business. You can microloans, angel investors, SBA, venture captial etc. but NOT GRANTS!

Do young people now days have a sex drive? I have a son 24 and a daughter 21. My son had a girl friend in high school, but since then he has not dated anyone. As far as I know my daughter has not ever had a boyfriend. Do other parents notice anything like this? It is certainly a contrast to the way I behaved at that age. I guess I am grateful that my children did not get involved in intense relationships at 15, but I would like to think I might be a grandfather one day.
