I respect how she held her head high and smiled after she was publicly humiliated by her husband's affair. Many people hate her for the same reason, and I think they need to rethink that position. (Can you imagine how hard it was for her to smile for cameras when EVERYONE knows your husband was unfaithful?) Do we normally pick on our friends who were cheated on by their man? Shouldn't women stick together on this one, or are you suddenly advocating divorce?
I also respect her for being an advocate of women's and children's rights as well as making the role of 1st lady an active one.

I don't know if respect is the right word I can use for describing what I feel about her. So no I don't respect her as a person nor as a politician. But I am in awe over how she had gotten away with so much through the years. I guess she and John Kerry more then anyone else epitomize the total elitism and lack of respect they have for America and it's people.

She IS one tough cookie; but I would have respected her more if she had kicked Bill out of the White House & made him get his own separate apartment, & just come to the White House to work every day. Now THAT is someone I'd vote for any day!

Well she's the perfect southern dame isn't she...she stood by her man no matter who he did.
What a conniving rotten person she is. No I do not respect her.

I lost respect for her during Whitewater...and when she went back to her husband only AFTER she found out he was going to be running for the presidency. She'd left him, and when she found out, she went back and played up to him to save face.
