great question...I'd say pride leads into MOST sin. Others are led by lust and greed.

Pride comes before a fall. Not necessarily before sin. Even though when you do sin you eventually do fall. Sometimes though it's lust leading the way, or temptation, greed, revenge, etc.

Mark 7:20-23
And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

yeah. Sometimes you have to down right swallow your pride to sin. I've seen it be done. When you steal a TV, you have to swallow your pride. There isn't any kidding yourself that you're a decent person. You think to yourself "I am trash" and you accept it. (just one exampl)

Well, what is sin? It's non-existent. If you built something, you'd be proud of your work. It makes you HAPPY. Why can't people be happy about an accomplishment?
