I have a thought that Westerners are so much cruel than asian. Especially in some western countries (I will not mention names here) the crime rate is so high. Why? Is there a psychological reason?

(On the other hand it is true that poverty is too high in most of the asian countries since they are developing countries.)

I just had a random thought the other day, if we percept things by time and light, and it takes time for light to travel, couldn't everything that we see beyond our solar system not be there at the present time? Like when we look up and see a star, is it still there, or is it just a false perception? Tell me what you think.

He nitpicks over everything and says mean things when I do/say things he doesn't agree with or if he doesn't like the way i say it. I don't like to talk to him, especially about things that are important to me. I don't like to go to him for advice. If I ever need comfort or a listening ear, I go elsewhere.

I'm 17 and I'm really into cartoons especially anime. All my friends aren't into cartoons and I've kept my love for cartoons a secret. Should I be into more 'my age' programs? Using a IBM Thinkpad R50 model, but the 256mb RAM chip belongs to my friend long time back as during school project he was using my notebook then he installed as he found out the speed isnt sufficient. Now he is asking it back, so I need to give it, we not kinda friends now though, so this is the last deal, am gonna have it with him. Either I can remove then hand him over the ram chip or pay him the bucks and send to him via bank transfer. Thats it. I met this man. We had intense chemistry felt on both sides. He was arrogant and I couldn't take it. Although this man is an excellent catch and he was unexpectedly my "dream man."
I have always been a player and now this time I can't forget about him. I constantly think of him but we are no longer seeing each other as I dropped him because of his arrogance. He's moved on now, but some of his actions are suggesting he hasn't (long story). I can't stop thinking about him and know I need to forget about him. Please help as this man has caused so many disruptions in my life and I can't find a way to move on.
