Why, what am I do wrong?

When I open MS off. 97 Excel link from a Desktop Shortcut I get:
xx.xls is already open. Reopening will cause any change you made to be
discarded. Do you want to reopen xx.xls YES or NO

When I open a MS off. 97 Word Desktop Shortcut I get:
xx.doc is being used by XX XXXX. Do you want to make a copy?
OK or Cancel (option) what causes it?

or

Do you want to revert to the saved "xxxxx"? YES or NO (option)

I have a friend who is divorced and shares custody of his kids with his ex wife the kids reside with the mother though. The mother is wanting to up and leave with her fiance and the kids to move to Hawaii they and the father live in florida. The divorce papers state she can only move to counties bordering brevard county where we all live.She is taking my friend to court to have it motified and my friend dont want the kids going to Hawaii which is understandable because she has nothing out there no family no work, nothing its an irrational decision she is making. Can my friend fight this in the best intrest of his children to keep then here in florida where they have stability, there schooling, friends and family? He is a good dad he pays his child support and he always wants to be around his kids, the mother on the other hand lives in this fantasy world and is brain washing the kids over this move to turn them against there dad?

I wouldn't ask if I really didn't need it.

I am seriously short of money, I can just about afford £6 on food this week after paying off all my bills and rent.

Ok sure there are people worse off than me I admit, but if you can afford to spare me even a pound (or more) to my paypal account then it really would make a big difference to me right now.

I am 19 years old and have two sexual partners. My new boyfriend and I are very close and open to talk about things, so I've already talked with him about all of this. When we're having sex, about half way through, he can reach down and get like half-a-handfull of very think, white discharge coming out of me. I dont any pain before, during, or after sex, it doesnt smell abnormally horrid, and its almost pure white, no strange yellows or greens in it at all. I have NO other signs of any STD's and it has been like this for a while. Does anyone know what this could be?

For making laws such as banning smoking in washington DC, bars and restaurants, curfews, no sodas in high school, not being allowed to say Christmas in school or singing Christmas Carol, for banning the paintings of Jesus in public places, for our phones and emails being tapped whenever the Govt like, for imminent domain, raising taxes, etc. I think America is turning very communist, do you agree or disagree ?

While watching my 6 kids we had to go to the supermarket. They were horrable!!!! The oldest two girl (ages 10 and 9, the 10yr. old is actally my live in niece) were yelling for DVDs and the other 3 boys (ages 8, 6 and 3) were yelling and screeming for toy and candy. At one point my 3 yr. old threw himself in the floor kicking and screeming everybody was looking I wanted to die!!!!!! My wife swears that the 3 yr.old is the only one that acts like that with her. Thank god my youngest is to young to act like this she is 3 wks. How do you deal with this behavior?

I am 24 and have had three partners. The first just liked to do it and nothing else. The second was a one nighter. The third is the man I'm with now. We have been together for four years. He can only do it for like five minutes cuz he has a problem. He is very well trained in other areas though.
