I have this boyfriend of 3 years and right now ,because of career, we are having a long distance kind of relationship. How many non-indians are aware of the origins of Indian independence and the actual date and year? And are they aware of republic day and it's significance? I'm just asking because in my experience americans (no offense to americans, i'm an american citizen myself, born and brought up there), know shockingly little about countries and cultures other than their own. And their only exposure is the media which doesn't cover much. So, I was just curious.

Or am I just being paranoid. Trying to talk with elitist people is like talking to a Stepford wife or child. They're so ingrained with the idea that they're so much better than everyone else, yet ignore the fact they're practically identical personality-wise to the people around them. It's like individuality is being outlawed and these people brainwashed by elitism are the blind enforcers of it. And it's not simply a wealth thing either. Seems like, class and/or race in America plays a role in it, too. Like Miss America in recent headlines having her actions rewarded with a Playboy offer, and the Texas "Mean Girl" cheerleaders taking advantage of their unwarranted privledges of being part of a reveered pack mentality. The same goes with sports, universities, fraternities, sororities, etc. Am I the only one noticing this plague? And for people who likely think I'm talking about them and want to get defensive... what makes this psyche so "justifiable" to you? Broad opinions are welcome.

Soap bottles, the wife's hair care products, some home medicinal products... many of them are written in french and English. I couldn't possibly try to give a speech, but I bet I could damn near write one in french by now. Does anyone else utilize their personal time for educational purposes?

I suffered terribly during my second pregnancy with piles - so bad that I couldn't walk at times!! It was a slow recovery, and I found it very humiliating to be treated. We are considering trying for our third baby, but if I am guaranteed to get piles again I think it would be enough to put me off! Anyone had a pile-free pregnancy after a a bad one previously?

I installed two Kidde carbon monoxide dectector in the 2nd floor and first floor. Those detectors have highest peak read in digital format. I checked the level every day. Some times it reads '0' and sometimes it reads up to '28'. I reset the dectors to '0' and wait usually. The pattern is, if I set the thermostat of our heaters to a highter temperator, it shows higher level. But sometimes, for no reason, it reads a higher level. Does anybody have this product and think this is realiable?
