I was trying to be light-hearted and funny and put, "Glass slippers. Be sure to lose one of them at midnight!" and was reported for this answer. I guess stupid humor is not appreciated by some, so much so that they feel the need to report it. I only report answers that are flat-out awful (vulgar, racist, etc. etc.). What criteria do you use, personally, to "report abuse"?

lots of people are telling me communism did not work. this is true. but also they say: in theory communism could work. i was just wondering..what do they mean 'it could work'? do they mean that yes, in theory, communism would create a sort of utopia? in my mind, a country in which you cannot improve your social or economic status however hard you try (and therefore have nothing to aim for, or wish for, or bother to live in hope of). basically, i just don't see why anybody could ever be happy under communism. am i making any sense?

why DO people say that in theory it could work? what do they consider to be 'working'? because i suppose i was only taking into account people's happiness?

but then i thought the whole point was that everyone would be happy if they have the same. maybe it is just that i disagree with that completely.

so basically : i'm confused. please help!

I would like to make non-chocolate cupcakes for my son's birthday. I have a bunch of flower, sugar, standard baking ingredients, frosting, and decorating sprinkles. I don't have sour cream or cream cheese. Got eggs and butter. Can you help with the recipe? I've looked online and only saw recipes with cake mixes. Thanks!

Currently, some (wealthy) people are being cryogenicly frozen so they can be later thawed and cured of what ever ails them (be it disease or even old age).

Many believe that the best way to do this is to cut the head from the body just before death and freeze the head ONLY (this is done because a head can be frozen much more rapidly; and they figure that by the time medical science can cure their disease, they will be able to grow them a new body as well).

MY QUESTION is, if we had the ability to keep the decapitated BODY alive, would we morally obligated to do so?

FOLLOW UP QUESTION:
Are we obligated to protect the life of a embryo/fetus that has just as much/little capicity for thought as the headless body?

I'm a 38 year old guy in a moderate shape physically " not really the fittest guy on the block but doing ok". As of lately , I was in a sitauation where a street thug threatened violence and somehow I got away unharmed. This got me conisdering martial arts ; the problem is that they're so many types.

So , which martial art would come in handy for a middle-aged professional if the need arises for a street fight ?. I don't need something that takes 10 years to learn and would look impressive on the olympic scale. Just something quick , easy and practical.

I am, and have always been intrigued with Canada's beautiful land, cooler weather, and less self absorbed people. I want to uproot myself from here in the states, and become a complete full time resident of Ontario. Their website is obscure about immigration. I am curious to know the steps involved in becoming a citizen there in laymans terms.

I really want to work on saving our earth from global warming, but I don't know exactly what to do. What can "I" do as a normal human being to be a part of this fighting against global warming thing besides tell others about this and let them be aware of this? Lastly I'd appreciate it if there's no angry or rude answers about this or I just may report you. Thank you.
