No. They are completely different. Albert Einstein for one suffered (if you could call it that he suffered in the long-term) from having dyslexia. I would suggest you read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyslexia if you want to know more about it.

Dyslexia is not down syndrome. It is 2 different disorders. People have one and may not have the other. Dyslexia is when a person reads and writes letter backwards and can have trouble learning to read and write. It is a learning disability and it has nothing to do with being mentally retarded. Down syndrome is when an extra copy of chromosome 21 is made. People with down syndrome is mentally retarded just like how a person with autism is like.

No. Dyslexia is a visual problem. Down's Syndrome is a genetic problem.

Not at all.

Dyslexia really describes a person who sees things in three dimensions.

If taught properly, it should represent no learning problems to you.

It is in no way a mental disability.
