Sometimes I'm walking outside or in a long, long hallway, and a few dozen feet away, I see someone I know walking towards me. They also see me. We wouldn't have any intention of stopping for a conversation, but it would be rude not to acknowledge each other when passing.

What do I do from the time I first see my friend at a great distance to the time we pass each other?

Do I pretend I don't see them until we're a reasonable distance away, then at about 8 feet say, "Hey, what's up?" smile wave and pass? Do I wave the very first moment we see each other, then make no other movement until we're closer, then give a quick "Hi" as we pass? Do we just smile and wave at each other the whole time? Or do I just make an elaborate show at looking at my watch, acting surprised at the time, and run away?

I am due to get married soon and sometimes i feel so excited about it and other times I don't. My fiancee is a great man but jus like any other man he can be a @ss at times. I know I cant expect him to be perfect but we are great for each other in many ways.

But I want to know what are some others disappointments after marriage and if you feel the dissapointments are worth the risk?

The people that are being profiled - are the ones that profiled themselves.

The Liberal wants to believe that after 911 nothing really happened. Because they say it was not done by the down trodden folks overseas. But by the people that thay hate. The govt. In my humble opinion.

I ask this because I don't know the age of my cat. I love her to pieces, and want her to have the best possible life. I found her as a stray, took her to a vet to have her fixed, because she didn't seem to be too much older than a kitten. I was shocked to learn that she was actually pregnant. She was undernourished and skinny when we took her in. When she began to gain weight, my husband and I thought she was just putting on weight because she was healthy. At any rate, the vet listed her age as a little under a year old. This might sound silly, but I am wondering if she could possibly be older than that? She's very playful and pretty active, even almost 6 months after being fixed. She's pure black and has recently acquired a few strands of white hair on her tummy, and it makes me wonder about her age. I received wonderful answers about my previous question regarding my cat. I hope someone can help me. She's my baby. (Her name is Natasha!)
