Absolutely not. I think more and more kids these days are too spoilt by their too-loving parents.
And, especially if she's over 10, that's definitely not acceptable behaviour. You're her mother after all, she's not the one in charge, you are. And it's only Vicks- she shouldn't make so much fuss about something as small as that.
And besides, kids are always demanding that they get respect and that their parents treat them as though they were mature...well here's a perfectly great situation in which your daughter could've taken it on the chin instead of whining about it.

she'll get over it, just let her vent and eventually she'll realize there's no reason to be mad about it. Or just ask her why she's upset about it, maybe she likes the other product better.
