The Venn diagram is a way to represent what things have in common. Each circle represents all the things in each story. When you draw the three circles, they overlap in four places. The center (intersection of all three circles) is for those things which every story has in common. In this case, Coyote fits in the center.
The other three locations are where two circles intersect and where you put things that are common between just those two stories.
You can put people, things, ideas, or anything else you like. Consider where death occurs. Consider where hunger appears. Consider where a cave appears. There are many things to consider. Here is a list of some of them from the three stories.
mountain, peace, truth, hen, coyote, tree, dog
woman, coyote, whistling, hunger, giant, weapon, people, cave
eat, strength, cave, Duck, food, Bat, hunger
Draw the diagram, identify which story each circle represents, then start filling in with the information.

in a venn-diagram the 3 circles mean, it basically is left-what they have in common, middle what they both have in common and difference, and right-what they have in difference.
