Hi everyone!

i might be moving to either NY or LA and i would like to know where in both of those states provide the 'best' and 'top notch' beauty institutes. im going into beauty therapy, esthetics and cosmetology and it'll be kind enough if any of you, who'll be able to help me, would give me your best answers! i'll be looking forward for your answers and it'll be much appreciated!

Why do they act like this?

My mom's going through her menstural cycle and she always gets really mean. And when ever I try to say something she snaps at me. And when I ask her why she's so mad she gets pissed and tells my dad to make me go away. And then my dad says why are you making your mom mad? And he always takes my mom's side. It always like this every month. I mean geez. I try to leave her alone but she calls me to get her something and she always picks out a mistake I made then snap at me. Why does she do this? And why does my dad have to always agree with her and never hear my story??

What is poor these days?

I live where the west says people are very poor and are exploited by the west to keep them that way.

There sure are a lot of new cars around now. Many are expensive SUVs with all the extras. It is not just a few either. The traffic is getting really bad here.

Why causes the serpentine belt to squeal when it rains?

I've got a '99 Chevy Cavalier RS. Twice now I've heard a squealing sound from under my hood. It appears to be coming from the serpentine belt. Both times it has squealed it's been raining out. After it stops raining and things dry off there is no squeal. Should I assume it's now time to have the belt replaced? Also, does this sound like something simple enough for the local mechanic or do I need to spend the extra money and have a dealership do the work?
