Keep him away from strangers if you know he shows agression towards them. Otherwise, you're liable to end up with a law suit if he attacks someone!

always keep him in a secure area when you are not around to watch him. And when you are around, have him on a leash when greeting new people. African wild dogs have not been domesticated (as far as I know, and do not know how legal your owning one is) for long so it is not in their breeding like other domesticated dogs to be friendly and curious and want to lick and jump up on every new person they meet. Your dog see you as the leader of the pack, so he will take his cues from you. But he his going for the feet to either say back off this is our den, or as an attacking strategy so the stranger can't run away and he can eat him. If you know that you are going to have new people over it may not be a bad idea just to keep him in a kennel. And I would purchase a leash with a soft mussel attached and keep it at the door, and slip it on before you ever answer it. You definitely picked an interesting dogie!!!!

U need to get this sorted because if he bites someone he could be put to sleep. When someone is at the door take him with u calm him down walking to the door NOT when u answer it. If u tell him to calm down while he is going for someone he will get confused and think that its OK to behave like That.
Get an old spray bottle and a loud whistle or a horn and when he goes for someone spray the water only lightly in his face and sound the horn/whistle. He will not like it at all so he will soon learn that when he goes for someone that he gets something he doesn't like. You need to keep it even if it don't work the first time it will. And if he doesn't do it when u spray him give him a little chew or biscuit and he will learn that biting means something bad will happen and not biting he will get a treat
Do the same thing even if he is just growling

Put a muzzle on him. First don't you see the fith word in your question (wild) second. you could have a large lawsuit against you if he bit someone. And you know that he does this. My neighbor actually had a dog order by the law put to sleep because a teenager tormented it into biting. It was a good dog. sometimes a muzzle will help them to learn not to bite. But either way atleast you save yourself a lawsuit if it doesn't work

A muzzle when around strangers, first off.
If you want this to stop you need to correct the behavior as you would with any dog. I would suggest obedience training.
