My mom's going through her menstural cycle and she always gets really mean. And when ever I try to say something she snaps at me. And when I ask her why she's so mad she gets pissed and tells my dad to make me go away. And then my dad says why are you making your mom mad? And he always takes my mom's side. It always like this every month. I mean geez. I try to leave her alone but she calls me to get her something and she always picks out a mistake I made then snap at me. Why does she do this? And why does my dad have to always agree with her and never hear my story??

Wow that is so deep my mom has never gone through anything like that. Maybe you should try talking to a consular or one of your family members. If i was you i would have said "Well if I'm making so many mistakes then don't tell me to do anything let dad do it." I THINK that is parental abuse but donut take my word for it. Good question though.

A lot of women have a VERY hard time of it when they're having they're periods. Your mom may not realize how mean she is being. (Your dad is just trying to stay out of the line of fire!) I suggest trying to talk to your mom about this when she's not having her period. Even if she gets a little offended, at least she will be aware of the problem and maybe think twice before snapping at you next time.

My mom acts the same way and she makes me want to snap back at her but instead I just try to ignore her and stay away from her until she needs something. And your father probably takes her side so she won't snap on him next and they get into a huge fight over nothing.

your dad is trying to keep the peace. he doesn't want to hear it from your mother any more than you do. it's not that he doesn't want to hear your story - he wants to be neutral, because he knows if he doesn't, he'll get the blunt of your mom's rage at her time of the month. try to forgive her, it's all hormonal and before you know it she'll be back to herself for another 28 days. hang in there and be glad the two of you are not going through your menstural cycle at the same time.

Your Mom doesn't mean to be mean to you, she obviously has some problems with her hormones during that time of the month. If you know she is going through this just try to stay out of her way and help her through it as much as possible.

Hello there!
I don't know you might not like my answer... its not that im on your moms side too lols.. i dont know any of you...
Im not sure how old you are but well seems like your mom is really nervous.. it means she is not happy in her life. If she was happy she wouldnt be acting like this believe me. some parents dont put it on children some do...Well i think the best thing to do is that you could try and talk to her like a woman to woman... I understand its hard for you so try and tell her, dont fight just explain everything ans ask her how she feels too... i think it will help. And you 2 will get closer.
Good luck!

Sounds like she should go to the doctor for this - she could be depressed.
