ok, so i am usually very nice to everyone, you know, and mostly try to make people feel comfortable around me, but sometimes when i am extra nice to guys, they mistake it for flirting and suspect that i like them... which i usually don't. so, how can i know the difference from being nice to flirting, so i wont give guys the wrong idea that i like them, also the uncomfortable " i think you really like me" talk.

i have a computer with 2 network adapters (one of them used for the cable from the server and the other is connected to the laptop) and a laptop. i want to share the internet connection on the laptop. the isp gave me only one ip(and i have to pay for another one). what settings should i make on the laptop in order to have internet on the laptop. i hope you understood.(ip,subnet mask, default gateway, dns)

Would it shake your "faith" in astrology to know that the time tables for delineating zodiacs is off by one month? As you know, our zodiacs reflect what constellation the sun was in when we were born...however, the earth has a 26,000 year wobble in its axis and, because of this, the current zodiac calendar is off by a full month from when it was first created. That is not question, it is a fact, check your star chart. How can you still believe in this, when the dates don't match up? How can you possibly explain this?

There are two pieces of software. (1) Kronos which collects the time data and store in .dbf files. (2) An Access database which imports these files (they have to be done manually everyday after deleting the old files from yesterday). Access .mdb database has multiple queries and reports based on these tables. Now, the question is how do we automate the process for average supervisor with no IT experiece so that she can click on a button-import .dbf files (and replace the old ones) to Access and look at the various reports based on multiple queries? Any suggestions? Is it better to do it using VB and ADO.NET or there are simpler ways of connecting these two existing programs? From Kronos, one has to manually create those .dbf files which is not a problem. The problem is to import those files in Access by click of a button and produce the reports.

My step-son died in a car accident this week, and we have tossed around the idea of a memorial fund for him. My idea of memorial fund is that money is collected and donated to something.
