I need as much information as possible i am doing a report on him and need to find out as much as possible if anyone has any websites or information that would help i would be grateful to have and no stupid answers please

It is actually quite fascinating.
Since you probably procrastinated a report that is due after Christmas break though I would try Wikipedia.com.

Why don't you do a search for 'edgar allan poe.' I'm sure a lot of stuff will come up. Just go thru it all and you're sure to find something you can use for your report.

get up and go to the nearest library. the librarian would probably be glad to help you find stuff on him. and read a couple of his short stories. they will give away more about his character. you can also try google/yahoo search engines, but dont trust everything you see on the internet! (im sure you knew that already)
