Let me see Bush, the war in Iraq, why is the light taking so, why is there a line, how come he/she doesn't call me back. I could list tons of examples. Instead of these things why don't people worry about things they do have control over and make the best life you can for yourself?

You sound like you are worried about it.

This shouldn't be under parenting, but I'll answer it any way. I think it is in many peoples' nature to worry about things, regardless if they have control over them or not. My wife is a perfect example. She'll beat herself up over the whether and what coat my son should wear to school. "I don't know what to do, his going to get to hot in this one, but to cold in this one" and on and on. It's like it's in her nature to fuss over the smallest, least important and often out of her control details in life. She's not alone either. I work with a guy who's constantly fearing that our company will get bought out and lose his job. No wonder high blood pressure is rampant.
