laptop or a pda or an ipod im running outta room and i cant get a external hard drive yet so instead of eraseing shows i like i was wondering if there is a wasy to transfer shows to something besides recording to a vhs tapemy the only ports that are active are the firewire ports not the usb or the sata port so any info would be great i have a laptop that doesnt have a firewire port so that sucks thanks

Look, Pat cracks me up. He is a constant source of entertainment. However, I've noticed he likes to make predictions a lot. In the history of Christianity, isn't 'scrying' or making claims to forsee the future something that was associated with witches? Just wondering here.

A good looking man walked into an agent's office in Hollywood
and said,"I want to be a movie star."Tall, handsome and with experience on Broadway, he had the right credentials. The agent asked, "What's your name?" The guy said, "My name is Penis van Lesbian." The agent said, "Sir, I hate to tell you, but in order to get
into Hollywood, you are going to have to change your name." "I will NOT change my name! The van Lesbian name is centuries old and I will not disrespect my grandfather by changing my name. Not ever." The agent said, "Sir, I have worked in Hollywood for years. You
will NEVER go far in Hollywood with a name like Penis van Lesbian! I'm telling you, you will HAVE TO change your name or I will not be able to represent you." "So be it! I guess we will not do business together," the guy said and he left the agent's office. Five years later, the agent opens an envelope sent to his office. Inside the envelope is a letter and a cheque for $50,000. The agent is awestruck, who would possibly send him $50,000?
He reads the letter enclosed;
"Dear Sir, Five years ago, I came into your office wanting to
become an actor in Hollywood. You told me I needed to change my name.
Determined to make it with my God-given birth name, I refused.
You told me I would never make it in Hollywood with a name like
Penis van Lesbian. After I left your office and I thought about what
you said. I decided you were right. I had to change my name.
I had too much pride to return to your office, so I signed with
another agent. I would never have made it without changing my name, so
the enclosed cheque is a token of my appreciation.

Hi I am a single mother and I have an only child. My son is 13 years old and ever since this winter started, his skin has been getting so dry and rough like sandpaper, but its everywhere-on his entire body. I went to see a dermontologist and she said he just needs to be applying lotion on every day.

She said it is not any skin disease, but just very horrible dry skin . The dermontologist said that any normal lotion would fix the dry skin, so I picked up Nivea Body lotion, for very dry skin and its new and smells pretty good.

I told him that after he takes his shower/bath he MUST apply the lotion on his entire body. I always lotion his back, and I must say his back has improves a little, but the rest of his body did not yet.

I found out he is not even using the lotion, the bottle is still full. He says he does but he does not. I told him that girls will not like dry skin, I even asked if he wanted to pick out his own lotion and he said no.

I'm into this guy who lives half the world away from me. I got a job in his country and will be going there for 6 months. I always email him but he's never emailed me on his own. Well he does reply to all my emails but it's always a reply to my email. Every time I write him something, he's always very nice and helpful, given me quite a bit of info on the country. Should I tell him I have a thing for him or would it ruin our friendship? Am I taking a wrong meaning out of his kindness or is there a possibility that maybe he likes me too? I don't know what to do?

Does it have stains? Worn areas? What colour is it? Does it bother you? I know this seems like a weird question, I am asking because I have had carpet for 18 months, cream, and parts of it are stained and parts of it are worn and some bits look different to other bits and it is seriously stressingme out! I cant afford to replace it and everyday I have to look at it. Why am I getting so stressed over floor coverings?
