35 years ago Pat condenmned psychics using this verse Deuteronomy 18:21, 22 You may say to yourselves."How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?"(22) If what a proohet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously.Do not be afraid of him.
I remember well what Pat said, he said that the psychics will claim to have a pretty good track record, but Pat said justifying his remarks on above scripture " If a psychic misses just one prediction, that proves they are fake and not of God, and if what they predict does not come to pass exactly as predicted, the psychic is false".
Pat claims he has a pretty good track record by predictions like Bush winning the election as proof he is of God, but he said the first time Bush would win easily. Having the electorial collage to decide 3 months after the election is not an easy win. That alone proves he is just another fake psychic, using the same means as the ones he condemned.
Pat also admitted that he misses sometimes, but he claims to get these things from God, did he forget what the above scripture says?If he was getting his information from God, he would never miss, and never be wrong about even the smallest point. If in 2000 he had predicted that Bush would win, but it would go down in history as the closest election ever, that would be proof that he was speaking form God. His predictions are merely guesses and not even as accurate as other psychics like Sylvia Brown.

The parallel fails on one major point. Wright is racially obsessed and the others are not. It is the racial consciousness and divisiveness which is the problem. Seeing secularist western civilization in general and American culture specifically as debased and lost is no fault and to be encouraged. This is no different than the prophets lamenting immorality, Jesus attacking the Jewish culture of his day, Socrates attacking the Athenian culture, Livy or Augustine attacking the Roman culture, and Luther attacking the corruption of the Church in 1517. Furthermore, you will see similar statements on the Huffington Post or any other leftist blog, though from a different angle and motive. Healthy criticism of a debauched and immoral culture is not only with strong precedent but necessary, but a divisiveness based on racial consciousness is foolish, puerlile, and ignorant.

Not necessarily so. Prophets are common place in the Old Testament but to be considered a true prophet of Almighty God, one must be 100% correct all the time. That was the mark of truth. Read the true prophets concerning the fate of Israel. You will see what I mean.

Robertson is a con-man,plain & simple, the only skill he demonstrates is the art of scamming. He's making a good living from it,because,as the saying goes,'there's a sucker born every minute'.

Is Pat Robertson demonstrating skill? Well, he would be if his predictions were correct.

Pat Robertson is a false prophet.
"My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations." -Ezekiel
"The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds." -Jeremiah
I've been upset with him ever since he called for the assassination of Hugo Chavez. I've been on mission trips to Venezuela, and his careless words caused a lot of unnecessary friction when relations were already tense to begin with.

Only on the surface. He took 700 club money and bought oil investments for himself. Sold Holy water from the sea of GALILEE. Banged his wife before marriage...one can only guess from there.
Most ministers don't have knowledge of world history, they simply repeat it.

I don't know about the dark arts but he is doing a great job of demonstrating why stupid people shouldn't be allowed to breed.

I wouldn't say "skill"...
He's a crackpot who spouts off whatever pops into his head, assuming that it's from God (since naturally, he's been speaking "God's Word" all his life...). He's also a hypocrite with some rather interesting financial holdings.
