The Stranglers, with Hugh Cornwell. I saw them twice, and had all their CDs from Rattus Norvegicus to La Folie. They had a simple rock formula, a sarcastic singer who wrote tongue-in-cheek lyrics, a killer bass sound, and used the keyboards well in the 'punk' or hard rock format. They rarely played cover songs, and they also sang some of their songs in French and Swedish!

I love their music! The lyrics are amazing as well. Their songs have gotten me through some tough times.
They are all the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Not only in person, but online, too. If you ask them a question you'll get a reply really fast! Seeing them live was the best experience ever! Not only did they sound good, but they were sooo friendly and sweet afterward.
Yep, check them out!! =)
