I'm into this guy who lives half the world away from me. I got a job in his country and will be going there for 6 months. I always email him but he's never emailed me on his own. Well he does reply to all my emails but it's always a reply to my email. Every time I write him something, he's always very nice and helpful, given me quite a bit of info on the country. Should I tell him I have a thing for him or would it ruin our friendship? Am I taking a wrong meaning out of his kindness or is there a possibility that maybe he likes me too? I don't know what to do?

you are totally and completely taking this the wrong way. you have no idea how whack you have this, he's just helping you out, what in the world makes you think that he's interested in you? he's a kind guy who's being polite, that's it, you 2 have never even met, don't tell him, because it would not only ruin your friendship, it would slaughter it and bury it, and he might sever all ties with you because he thinks you're weird. but that's just my opinion

Sweetheart listen to me, I might be a girl but this spells disaster all over it. If the only reason you are moving to this country is for this gentleman, then really step back and do not do this. If he just so happens to live in the same country its ok then. But hun step back and read what you have wrote. From what you wrote up there this gent is just being kind. A man's heart is a treasured thing. Let them chase you you do not chase them. It is the thrill of the chase and the hunting you down that makes life exciting for them. Play hard to get. If he doesn't email you at all take this as a sign that he is not interested in you. It may sound harsh, but it was a lesson that Scarlett O'hara had to learn too. Don't chase a dream when true love is right in front of your face. Accept the love that comes to you ever how it comes and be paitient and kind with it as well.

I don't think you have the friendship you think you do with him. If he's not contacting you on his own then he doesn't seem too interested and only being nice when helping you. If he is suddenly interested in you when you get there then I would be very cautious.
