i think there is growing acceptance of pot as not a harmful drug in the populace. in recent years we have seen the spread of "medical marijuana" states, mostly in the west. several cities have taken steps to effectively decriminilize marijuana, or set it as a low priority for cops. ballot measures in colorado and nevada came close to winning a majority in favor of completely decriminilizing pot, for recreational use as well as medical use.
pot is legal in holland and practically legal in germany, switzerland, and the united kingdom.
do you think that within the next ten or fifteen years, pot will be fully decriminilized in the united states? or at least in some states?
I think it will, because as today's baby boomer generation becomes the senior citizens of the next ten plus years and today's young people become middleaged and more and more young people come into voting age, the percentage of the total population that will have used marijuana will have increased so much??!!!
