So now I cant see anything on the screen and a right click of the mouse button doesnt show anything. I can run programs through task manager, and am sure that the files would be in the recycle bin but am unsure how to access it without using the desktop. So does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance

Thanks. I tried that and it popped up for a second and then disappeared again. Any other ideas?

You could try rolling back your systems configuration to an earlier working version using the system restore tool.
This can be found in system tools of the start menu or by running the following line in a run prompt or frm within task manager.

c:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
