Help i have no clue what to do?

i have been going out with my gf for 6 months and we're gonna tell my parents together i just don't know how i'm 15 and she's 18 and if things don't work out and my parents don't approve i'm just going to move in with her i'm scared but i love her to much to hide her my parents are ministers so i don't think they respect the choice for me to be with a girl i'm scared of what they will say. i know they'll still love me, but my talks about gay people all the time she doesn't realized who i am.

Comeback for "Young man" comment?

I am 35 year old profesional and have recently lost a lot of weight. I have noticed that many people who I meet now call me "young man" I want a succint and witty comeback to this patronising remark that is polite but also distinctly points out my dislike of the term.

Old before my time -- help?

My ex dumped me for a younger girl (I'm 32 , he's 31 and she's 20)... so now I am having 'age' issues. Everyone I know tells me I'm crazy. I'm fit, healthy, look like I'm 25 and take really good care of myself... but he's made me feel like a worthless old woman. What is my problem? Do other women feel like this, too? Career crisis which should I choose?

I would like serious answers to this please! I am in the process of applying to do a degree and am torn between two subjects. I am 32 and have been working in IT.I have narrowed it down to Psychology or Veterinary Nursing. I know Psychology is better paid but my motivations are really spurred on by caring and making a difference. The problem is I see both these careers as caring so what criteria should I make a decision on? I considered human nursing but I am worried I would not cope well with it. I could do psychology as I have my own experiences in this area....and as for the veterinary nursing I have looked after animals for years and am really interested in their wellbeing.

Any opinions from people working in either of these industries or perhaps some advice as to how I could decide. I want to make a difference to people fundamentally but I guess that would also be the case if I was treating their animals. Help!!! Thanks a lot. Cheers!

Why is tree replanting NOT happening?

Did you ever notice that whenever trees are cut down (for different reasons) people don't replant them with new ones?

I have noticed that in most cases, whenever a tree dies or something and is cut down ... rarely will you see that a new one will be planted.

I wonder what will happen as a result of this pattern ... hmm trees are slowly dying off, but no new ones are planted...
