If you live in Washington state the answer is yes. The DOL driver's guide says,
"For the first 6 months you may not drive any passenger under 20 who is not a member of your immediate family."
Since the sibling is part of the immediate family; there you go.

Depends on where you are living, try the online handbook. However in california, It is possible to take a sibling to school, only if there is a note written by the parents. So maybe that would help. Or else just drive suppppppppppppper careful. HOpe i helped.

As long as this 16 year old has her license and the vehicle is inssured and she is covered then all is well for her to transport her sibling to and from school. If you are not confortable with this arrangement then you should set aside a date to evaluate her driving ability and think things through.

If she has a driver's licsence then probably. I have heard that it's against the law to drive after dark with a minor though, I'm not sure if that's the case.

Depends on state laws, call and check. Myself I would prefer a little more experience before I let her take another minor on the road.

Check with your local BMV and find out your State Law pertaining to this issue.
It's possible that you could have a local ordinance (law) against this type of school transportation.
It sucks, I know. Be safe and check it out 1st. Avoid trouble at all costs.

There are no laws against it, and if both you feel safe letting the 16 year old drive the child, and he or she will do it, sure.
