My so-called best friend is a gay male. We met in college because we both liked drinking and dancing. It was always a surface friendship that we perceived as being much deeper, but never truly was. The more I get to know him (known since 1998) the more I realize we have very little in common. He lies to me and I've busted him. He keeps sleeping with this same horrible person who has ripped his heart out despite my advice and then lies to me because he knows I will ask him why. I don't see how I can continue in a friendship that is going nowhere and especially with someone who calls me his best friend, but lies frequently. When I think about ending the friendship, it doesn't make me sad. Almost seems like a relief that I won't have to deal with the gay drama anymore. His reaction would be horrible as he thinks everything is fine. He also recently asked me to move in with him. In my better judgement, I can't. How do I handle and/or possibly end a friendship and tell him I won't move in??

what do you think about preachers (like benny hinn) doing the whole "making people/crowds fall down because of the spirit thing"
obviously i know that atheists would think that it shows the absurdity of the will to believe
but i am wondering what other christians think about it.

May I “Rage” A little?

It is a shame that in America a black man has to be rich in order to get a fair trial. If OJ were poor, the planted evidence would have gone by unnoticed.

Don't pretend that cops don't plant evidence. Right after the OJ trial, the LAPD Rampart scandal broke where over 800 inmates were released because of police misconduct and planting of evidence. Those 800 men did not have OJ's money to challenge the evidence. If not for one cop getting busted and ratting out his partners in order to get less Jail Time, those men would still be in jail.

If the prosecution wanted to prove that the glove shrunk, they could have bought a new glove the same size and had OJ try the new one on. We can disagree about the glove if we wish to but there is no denying that OJ's blood at his house had EDTA in it. Why do OJ hatters over look this...because it proves that evidence was planted.

We already know that OJ did not write the book entitled "IF I Did It." He didn't write it and he did not Give it the title that has gained the scorn of the "court of public opinion." He did in fact take the blood money and contribute to One chapter in the book. My point is that this silly book proves nothing regarding the guilt of OJ Simpson.

The media controls the court of public opinion. Some loud mouth on the radio or on Fox news channel gives their ignorant opinion and all you emotional people fall right in line. It was the court of public opinion that lynched the hundreds and thousands of black people that were accused of a crime The court of public opinion is a lynch mob. OJ is innocent.

We have criminals in government that are affecting our everyday life. We have criminals in Corporate America that are costing the taxpayers Millions and Millions of dollars but we spend all of this anger on OJ.

If Nicole and Ron were Black, we would not be discussing OJ. It is the remote possibility that a black man may have gotten away with the murder of a white woman that keeps this alive. This is the real “race card.” OJ was Black and Nicole was White.

Leave OJ Alone!!!

Feeling charitable, I brought a new girlfriend and her 3 daughters home from a shelter to live with me. A month afterward, I realized the responsibility (and her "habits") to be far too overwhelming on me. She was "absent" for Thanksgiving, and I packed her things and ordered her out. She had called yelling, and I nearly had a stress heartattack from her actions...so I called the cops. We talked through that, and she went back in the shelter (soon to have her own place). Should I keep my faith that things will get better? Or, is it just time to call it quits?
