I would recommend Open For Business and Nightlife. I haven't had the chance to play with Pets, but I would be very careful if considering to purchase that one, as some players have had problems with the game (blinking red walls) because their graphics card can't handle Pets. So if you consider purchasing pets, be sure that your computer will meet the requirements first so you don't have this walls issue.

With Nightlife, you now have cars, so you can eliminate the need for a taxi or carpool. Your houses can look a little more realistic as you're also given the option to place driveways, and garage doors. The new dating and hanging out scenarios add a little more fun to the game. You can ask a sim on a date or to hang out, or go on a blind date via the matchmaker, or friends could ask *you* to hang out; then your main objective is showing your date or friends a good time. This is great as you have many options to entertain them: restaurant, poker, club, bowling alley, etc.

Open For Business is a good game as you have a new source of earning money - through your own business. You can choose to run a restaurant, salon, or a shop to sell the different items you make. Kids can also run a lemonade stand on the front lawn! You get new objects to create new toys (kites, kids water sprinkler toy, and jack in the box) and they actually *will* play with these, they're not just for show. Your sims can actually shop holding a shopping bag in their hand. You also earn new talents or rewards with your growing business, such as money, or the ability to manipulate people to buying something.

definitely, i admire the sims 2 and the persons seem waaay greater real looking and the personalities are greater real looking no longer in basic terms like the sims 3, theres alot of issues 2 has that 3 took out for no reason, and that i dont like the layout of the sims in 3, the only element going for it quite is which you would be able to layout something, thats it, different then which you lose interest interior the 1st half-hour of taking part in. Dont waste you cash, im re downloading sims 2 at present reason i omit it lots.

The Universitaries (Sims go to University) expansion pack is a good one for start, Nightlife too (Sims can go to Night Places such as Restaurant, or go to dance and other stuff, you can use a car for going where do you want to go (you don't drive it, it's automatic)).

well the nightlife is fun if you want your sims to find a date, it alot like hot date from ts1, but it has vampires in it.
unviersty is kinda boring it takes along time, but you get a special phone to call the grim reaper with and zombies, open for business is fun and it has robots, i dont have the pets one so i dont know what to tell you on that.

I hear the Sims 2: Pets is worthwhile, although I don't have it so I can't say for sure.
