My friend (conditional permanent resident) was legally married to a girl (citizen). The girl's parents got the annulment of marriage from NY court. My friend is in chicago. He had replied to summons but the in laws didnt disclose it court. What should he do to vacate the decision? Will it affect his immigration status? Shouldnt court proceed for divorce if legal marriage was done (instead of annulment)? Please give yr legal advice. Thank you

im in 10 grade and i like this girl alot and i have a question i would like to be answered soon cause i have to leave soon....

but i want to ask this girl to go c a movie or go to the mall with just me this weekend and ive asked her last week and another time but she had other things to do...and i found out shes doing something with her friends friday night and i was wondering if i should still ask neways.

but another thing is if i dont ask her for this weekend i was goin to ask her to go next wednesday night cause im leavin for vacation on thursday....

i was gonna say to her "are you free next wednesday night" and if she is id say "well do you want to go c a movie or go to the mall with me"..and if she has another thing to do i would say "if you really dont want to go just tell me the truth"...and i was wonderin if thats good to say....

reading in the newpaper yesterday, 18 cubans landed on the west coast of Florida that were headed to Miami, strong winds took them to west. They came to the US and are being allowed to stay! I strongly disargee. If you come to US soil/land illegaly, you should be sent back in 24 hours. it's not fair to our workers. immigrants don't pay taxes, social security, insurance, but when it comes time for them to collect Social security @ 65, they are the 1st in line. It's an outrage. These people were spotted by a sprimp boat driver on a Hwy walking soaked with ocean water, dehydrated and with hypothermia. They should get a hot meal, dry clothes and a ticket back to their country. What if it were an Arab or Chinese person, we would be worried about terrorism or the Avian/Chicken flu coming over with them. What's the difference? As a PROUD, strong Latino I'm going to have to disagree strongly with swimming or boating immigrants.

My son's teacher gave me a pamplet about Asperger's syndrome. I have not taken him for a diagnosis yet, and frankly, I am a bit scared of doing it.

Brantley is extremely intellegent. He is 9 years old with a big heart and terrible social skills. He has already been labeled as ADHD although I have not medicated him.

He speaks with an astonishingly good vocabulary, and he reads on a high school level.

When he gets frustrated (really frustrated), he has emotional outbursts. He cries easily, and he gets bullied a lot, although sometimes, he almost brings it on himself.

His motor skills are terrible. He is very uncoordinated with sports, running, and physical activities. He has trouble interacting with peers and would rather be reading, playing video games, etc.

It is strange that Brantley often doesn't do his work at school and is instead reading a book of his choice.
Am I an awful mom for not wanting to get him diagnosed? I want to believe Brantley is normal.

I am recently divorced after 21 years. We just couldn't live together, no baggage to worry about. Question is, I go to a store about 2 to 3 times a week and there is this woman who is at the check out stand. She seems nice. From conversations I have over heard she has a son. She is not wearing a wedding ring. Is it OK to ask her to go out on a date while she is working. I am not a subtle kind of guy, so is this just too forward or not. My husband & I won custody of my step daughter in Feb. of this year. We are following the court orders on standard possession exactly. (obviously if a father won custody of his child in Tx courts situation was pretty bad.) According to the orders this year is her year to be with her mom on Christmas break starting the day she gets released from school - Today - thru the 26th at noon. However, we still don't know if she is coming or not, we'll find out tonight. But we just found out she attacked her boyfriend she was living with last night and he filed assault charges on her. (by the way she had assault charges already from attacking her previous husband which was not the same man as mine). Apparently the house they are living in is in his name along with all the utilites. He is cutting off all of them today, & contacting the landlord. She even bragged she was clubbing tonight with her friends.
Do we have to let her go if the situation is unstable and possibly dangerous?
