Italy of course they bet them in the semi finals and they could obviously beat them in the finals too. I also think that the azzurri won that game against Germany bc they had a certain sense of unity and chemistry between the player and i didnt get that feeling from the way the German's played. That was the best game of the WC i loved it and will never forget Grosso's amazing goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Italy because they are way skilled and showed their showmanship in the games they had this summer. Germany is newer and has had less time to practice their techniques. Italy would have won because they can do good basic maneuvers, excellent aim, and stand a fair chance as the top of their league.

Both Germany and Italy are such g8 sides that it would be obvious that the team that plays the best in this glorious night would win. But Germany would lose as they are playing at home and pressure would be on them.

italy we beat em once n we could of beat em again n anyway its a known fact that when they is scandles the same time as the wc in italy the italian team go on 2 won the wc trophy so it was destiny 4 us 2 win plus we have the better team

Italy would have won. The play level of Cannavaro and Pirlo on the field to lift their team over France shows they were ready for anyone they played that day. Put that together with the outstanding work of Gianluigi Buffon in net throughout the tournament and Italy was destined to win it this year. The only concern with Germany is if they had made it to the shoot-out, I believe Germany would have been victorious.

although italy won germany in the semi-finals, i would say germany would've won italy in the finals, because germany has a bigger audience and the crowd is atleast 90% germans and germany supporters
