There's this one guy that never talks to me, but he's always beside me when he can be, and he glances at me sometimes. We only talk during group projects, I just don't know.

I kind of like him, and have shown him that through giving him encouraging signs like smiling back at him, looking at him, etc. (Basically what he does to me, I'm not going to throw myself at him.) He's really confident in class, to all the other girls too, so I don't get why he rarely talks to me.

What does it mean if his voice gets lower and softer when he does talk to me? It's kind of creepy, lol. :O

Main question: how am I supposed to just randomly start a conversation with him? I've never dealt with a guy this shy before.

I plug it in and it makes the beep sound and the light in the USB turns on..and this message on my screen appears saying that a new hardware has been detected...I go to "My Computer" and it isn't there...I went to the Panel Control>Hardware and it wasn't there....I tried the troubleshooter and nothing happened :( .... In the corner of the screen appears the sign to safely remove the drive and appears under the name of USB Mass Storage Device.
I have Windows XP and the drive is a "iomega" drive......Please help! ....and it would be great if u can explain it to me without using too many "geeky" terms .....THX! <3

Sometimes we feel our past selves are completely dead and a new, more mature person has taken place. But when the parent can't tell the difference or has never bothered to know their children's life philosophies then how are people supposed to feel loved by their naive parents? I want to buy a new house, but I still have to sell my old house. I'm afraid that I won't be able to sell the old house soon enough and I would have to worry about paying monthly for both houses if I move into new house. He trains us with speed of TKD, power of karate and technique of jiujitsu...

I was watching the news about that rapist in Texas who has raped several men, but they say he's raped far more but none of them will come forward. Why is it that men if raped, are less likely than a woman to report a rape?

I'm a woman and I know if I was raped I sure as hell would report it. But why would a man not want to? Is it that they are not affected as much? If some one hurts another human ... the other human usually wants and gets revenge, and in a rape case, it's by getting the rapist put in jail.

Repeat: SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT.

My interpretation of the "real" story was that what Teddy confessed to Lenny was the truth. I.e. the two intruders did rape Lenny’s wife, but she survived the assault. During the scuffle, Lenny conked his head and lost his ability form new memories. His wife (revealed by Teddy to be diabetic), couldn’t handle (didn’t want to believe) Leonard’s condition. So she tested him by repeatedly asking for him to give her her shots. He complied and ended up killing her. Of course, he doesn’t remember this, with his condition.

What I don’t get is: One, why do critics repeatedly refer to his wife’s “killing” by the intruders in reviews, when according to Teddy, she survived?

Two, how can Leonard alter his (long-term) memory of Sammy (giving him a fictional diabetic wife) as a reaction to killing his wife, when he can’t remember killing his wife? Doesn't he have to remember the trauma of killing her to have the impetus to alter his memory of Sammy?

I have two 5 1/2 month old cats. Ones a girl Felix. And ones a boy Salem. They are from they same litter. And they have never been apart from each other. Well today was there first day away from each other. I had to take salem to the vet to get him nurtured. And Felix was without her brother for 8 hours. Well when I brought him home felix has been mean to him. Hissing at him, growling at him, and She even smacked him with her paw! Usalley they are the best of buddies. Does anyone know why she is doing this? And is there anyway I can get her to stop? He's had a ruff day and now he has to come home to her being mean! I feel bad for the little guy!
