ok now my boyfriend and I have just broken up ,because Last night at a nine night I met my friends cousin and he was intrested in me. i told him i had a boyfriend and we danced and stuff because i was drunk.i gave him my number and he said he was tried so he asked me if he could lay on my leg and i said yes and thats about it.i told my boyfriend because i believe we should have a honest relationship ,and well he dumped me after we got back togethter the same night. i forgave him for looking his ex while with me. I need to get this guy like something very special for Christmas. We're not going out or anything, but I think I like him and he might feel something special for me. So I want to get him something special and not too suggestive, just like something heartwarming and other people won't get him. He does NOT want anything electronic or generic, and not gift cards... He already got me a present, I don't know what, but from what I've seen him getting, it's probably something pretty good and around $20-30. Can anyone tell me some ideas? I'm not sure what guys consider special/important or what they like this Christmas. Also, please tell me things that are actually presents, not cook for him or something. Thanks!

My main concern now is Christianity, not history. I know a good Christian man, whom I co-pastored under, but became ill. During his illness a bad clique worked against him, actually trying and almost taking control of the church from him.

Fortunately, they are gone now, and we can re-start the church. We have a prospective building, praise the Lord, with low rent. I just need some income to assure us of getting through. I was wondering what menial work readers might suggest for a man of 50, lacking in computer skills or mechanical ability. It would be part-time. Fast foods, which I mentioned in an earlier posting, is a consideration, as well as possibly Wal Mart.

I still have other liabilities, fear of registers, and could not work until after l p.m. on Sun.

Suggestions, particularly from people who have worked in fast food places and Wal Mart, would especially be appreciated.

For a really long time I have had these following feelings
I get mad easily
mood swings
when I get mad I pull my hair and my stomach starts to hurt
I mostly feel like crying a lot
I feel really lonely
Im depressed of where I live
Everyone is ignoring me
My scalp starts to hurt
I hate my school
I hate my friends
I feel ugly
I feel fat
I feel worthless
I feel like people are going to die because of something I did or didnt do
Im afraid the cealing will collapse and cause us BIG money
I always feel irritated
I kill myself on guilt about the past and it might come back as a problem
Afraid of getting sued because I did something bad in middle school

The pressure of my well is questionable, as for my water softner it is a Bruner, which I understand is no longer made, but is suppose to be one of the best ever made. I'm a widow and can't afford any bills, but I'm smart and I learn quickly. Any advice out there? Or, maybe, a screen writer? My story is a doosey!

I've asked my professors about this, and they are split on the issue. Some have advised me to research (via the school's web site) the departments I'm applying to and email professors whose research interests match mine. I've done this research and identified several professors, but I'm concerned that such an email may be seen as my trying to ingratiate myself with that professor, and thus actually hurt (not help) my chances. I'm afraid I will come off as lame, with the professor thinking, "What kind of person does this!"

Is this something that is acceptable to do during the application process? Are profs ok with this, or do they resent the email intrusion? Should I instead contact the graduate dept head and ask for advice/permission?

Also, if I should contact them, is a simple introduction that I'm applying to their grad program and these are my current research interests enough? What are some things I should ask (almost all of the general program details are online)?

I have an Ibook g3 with 256 MB of ram. I know that it uses PC100 ram. Is it possible to use PC133 Sodimms in my Ibook G3 because it is easier to get ahold of that speed. Specifically a 512 MB stick of ram. Thanks!
