Can you use PC133 Sodimm ram in an Ibook G3 500 mhz?

I have an Ibook g3 with 256 MB of ram. I know that it uses PC100 ram. Is it possible to use PC133 Sodimms in my Ibook G3 because it is easier to get ahold of that speed. Specifically a 512 MB stick of ram. Thanks!

The PC133 should slow down and run at PC100 speed.

no macs can only use mac parts. its one of the sucky aspects of the mac os. and it still wouldnt work in a regular pc anyway ram doesnt slow down but a ram slot can hold any speed of ram modules that is within about 200 mhz lower than the highest possible speed
