ok.. so im going to be doing track and field in february, and ive been training for about a month, and have only lost five pounds. my stomach is not in shape whatsoever, so i was wondering what type of excerisizes i can do to get in shape. ive been running alot but it doesnt seem to be working. thank you!!!

In ten weeks you can do a lot by:

continuing your running (I didn't ask what distance you do). You can mix in some sprints to get in better condition and produce more human growth hormone (hgh), so that your body will build more muscle and burn more calories while you rest.

jumping and skipping rope. It sounds like something a child would do, but most professional boxers also do it.

doing bodyweight calisthenics and isometic exercises (pushing and pulling against objects that won't move). You'll also gain strength without bulking up.

*****Watch what you eat. Avoid partially hydrogenated crap, avoid high fructose corn syrup, avoid modified flour, and focus on eating things that are as close to their natural state as you can get them. Seriously consider cutting out all fast food, and just cook for yourself. That way you'll KNOW what you're eating, and the work involved will make you less likely to simply eat out of boredom.

and various sorts of ab work won't hurt, either.

Ab workouts should help tone the muscle in the stomach. This will help with the flattening of your stomach. Don't do JUST sit-ups though. Find an ab workout that works multiple muscles in different ways. Using weights when doing these exercises might also help.

Ahhh you will have a false impression. Fat is going on best of muscle mass, no longer the opposite. :) in case you do ab physical activities with out aerobic then your belly could honestly get greater considering the fact that your abs get greater however do not lose fats. And youre younger to so you can also want a while

running helps the lower body you need to do sit ups

crunches, pilates works alot and tae-bo..
