Haven't had a pet stuffed, not like Roy Rogers stuffed his horse Trigger and dog Bullet, and I believe Dale's horse Buttercup too.
But I did have my first horse cremated and she remains in a nice large wooden urn with a photo frame on the front.
Cremation is a more common affordable practice for pet owners than stuffing.

Theres not much of your original dog when stuffed, i love my dog to bits but i wouldn't bother!! Plenty of decent photos is the best way to remember your dog.

Well i have never seen anyone stuff their dog before. Youd think that if you loved her enough you would just bury her, because then if you had her stuffed then it would make you sad everytime you saw her. It s your choice though.

If you would like to have your dog around forever and you think it is a good idea, then go for it! I don't see anything wrong with it.

My husband wants to do this if something (God forbid anytime soon) ever happens to our pups....I am against it. I would rather remember our dogs in their fluid state...cuddling and playing with us. Not frozen in a statue. Pictures will be plenty hard enough to look at.

eek no. I would prefer to remember my pet when they were happy and alive, not have a constant reminder of their death. I'd find no comfort in looking at a dead pet every day. I'd rather get a new living one and keep the memories of the old one in my mind.

My grandpa has had many deer and bears taken to the taxidermist as a trophy, and my grandma had her chook (she cherished it) filled and it nevertheless remains in her cage to in the present day. it is an argument of what you opt for. i in my opinion bury my pets.
