Hello ladies! I was wondering if anyone can tell me how many DPO it took for them to see a positive on a pregnancy test. I am currently 13 DPO, and not getting a positive, but I feel different, and feel positive! Let me know also, what test brand you used.

I got a negative test 14 days after I ovulated, and a positive test 19 DPO. I also suspected I was pregnant, and I was very disappointed when I got that first negative test result. I used a brand my Mom got from the hospital where she worked, called QuickVue+. Good luck!

40 DPO.

That's how long it took with my first pregnancy. I used every brand under the sun ... random internet cheapies to FirstResponse and EPT.

Finally I got a positive 40 DPO with an Equate (which is actually more sensitive than either FirstResponse OR EPT).

The hCG just wasn't making it into my urine. Unfortunately, that pregnancy later ended in miscarriage, but it wasn't related to low hCG. That was actually normal ... in my blood. The very next day I had a blood test done and the levels were absolutely in the correct range.

As for brands, here's a chart that shows the sensitivities of various tests, including those which have reports of false positives, not enough dye to read, recalls, and other problems.
