I have one female in a tank with a male and female Hemichromis bimaculatus. Are males just brighter in this species, or if I manage to find a mate for her, will both of their colors increase in intensity?

Hi all,

I am 26yrs old and have been head over heels for a particular woman 3yrs my junior for the past ....umm 2 yrs. No, I'm not Don Juan. Anyhoo, we have been studying at the same uni, different courses but similar area of interest. We had been in the same class together for one semester and our eyes did flicker (ever so faintly mind you). The handful of times I have spoken to her were unfortunately verrrry short and just about the regular jibberish that went through my head at the time (i.e., Hi, how's it going? Enjoying yourself? yadda yadda) Needless to say she had no idea of the crush i had on her. She has just finished uni (I still have a few years to go). The problem is that after attending her final year exhibition (totally planned and solely to see her) I discovered that she has a boyfriend. I have a hunch she has been seeing this guy for only a short time. I have her email address, and i need a heart-stopping way to tell her that I am interested in her. So experts - HELP!

I saw a question that made me thing of this. I am agnostic asking christians. If your an athiest I know your answers and I am fine with it.
Lets say for example a kid is dying. You pray to god to help him right?
Would god not help him if you didn't?
Would god help him more depending on how many people pray? This just doesn't make any sense to me. If god is omnipotent/omnipresent shouldn't the need for the child to be healed be the only concern of a god.
What exactly is your prayer going to change or help? This will probably result in a follow up question(s), so keep looking for me.

I truly do like this bankteller at the bank that I go to, the past few days I have tried to talk to her and the next teller is ear shot away and she could hear or listen to what I would say to the bankteller. You see, i have a girlfriend who has problems with hr mom.. my gf feels that her mom doesn't love her.. she cites to me some instances where she feels that way. For example.. her mom always questions her if she if using drugs or drink or have sex and a lot of bad things. Well, my gf has beend with her mother just 3 years ago.. her mom isn't around during her elementary years..
