Why must one buy a 10 mega pixel DSLR camera when a super compact too has 10 mega pixel? All I can think of is the felixibilty to change & use more than one lens. Is the resolution any better than a supercompact digital camera?

I am currently an undergrad. I live in a 5-room apartment with 2 siblings, parents and a grandmother. My parents have not been working for probably 5 years due to medical reasons. We are living on savings and help from the govt. In 3 mths time, their savings will dry up and the monthly payment of the house will be impossible. ($800 per mth). Moving into a smaller house does not help coz it will incur more debts due to housing prices and the amount unpaid for this current house. My siblings are studying too. If this problem is not solved, the govt will have to take back the house.We tried working part-time but its impossible to get $800 due to our studyload n the pathetic part-time pay. How? I am lost. I really have no idea what to do. We can negotiate about normal bills but when it comes to house, they always win. Pls help me.

My Betta fish lost part of his tail. Will it grow back? Also, what can I do to keep him healthy so he doesn't get infection or this continues? I don't know what happened, it could be fin rot, I'm not certain. I put stress coat in there, and I'm going to continue to do what I can. I want to clean his tank, since it's getting due for that, but I hope it doesn't hurt him.

I have 2 step sons who live with me and my husband. They are good kids- with the exception of the teenage years. The thing is their mom is not paying any child support. She has a good job but feels she doesnt have to pay. We have just bought a lettermans jacket, class ring, year book etc. for the oldest son. His mom had told him that she would buy the class ring. When he called her she told him no. He was really upset and started to cry and hasnt spoken to her since. There have been numerous times that she has disappointed the kids. Not showing up for their programs etc.. We did get him the ring ourselves, but what i am wondering is how dowe handle situations when they are so upset with her and how do we explain her not helping support her kids?

Britain does not want "hate-mongers" -- people coming to live in the country must conform to its tolerant values, Prime Minister Tony Blair said.

Immigrants wanting to live in Britain will have to pass an English test and ethnic or religious groups seeking government grants will have to show they promote integration, Blair said.

There was no question of Britain allowing the introduction of religious law, he said.

According to media reports, some minority groups have their own courts in Britain, ruling on divorce and disputes between neighbours and there is even reported to be an unofficial Somali court in London dealing with criminal matters.

"We must demand allegiance to the rule of law," Blair said.

To combat forced marriages, the government will consult on raising the age for people entering Britain to get married above the current minimum of 18, he said.

Britain is reassessing its attitude to racial and religious minorities following last year's bombings when four British Islamists blew up 52 people on London transport.

The government has cracked down on radical Islamic preachers who it says inspire suicide bombers. But it fears that growing segregation of ethnic minorities has made it easier for radical ideas to take hold.

Does this not need converting to Law?
Does this not send a clear signal to the Islamic extremist immigrant?
What plans are in place to prevent backlash from the affected communities?
