Its not so much that you always want the person you know you cant have, its more like, you cant control who you fall for. Sometimes, actually most of the time, its someone who for one reason or another doesnt feel the same way about you. And there is nothing you can do about it. Well there is, you have to get over that person and just keep living you life until you come across that person that will love you back.

We always want the ones we can't have because sometimes its a challenge we like to except. Other times its because God has a not so humuorous way of putting us through pain. But think of it this way, by chasing the one we can't have, it allows us to met new people and when we realize that person is gone and we really can't have them, the people we met along the way are still are friends and something good could come out of that. Sometimes that person we can't have really is the one we're supposed to have. If its meant to be, they'll be there, if its not meant to be, you'll learn to breathe again.

its so much more interesting when you know you cant have them like for example I have a thing for catholic priests I love the dog collar its very sexy but obviously they are off limits and it makes it so much more appealing because of that.
I think this is also true to an extent that when you go out on a night out single men are so un appealing because they have this desperate thing going on but the men who are married or in relationships (the untouchables) are more attractive because they are not trying to get in your knickers, well the good ones anyway!)
Theres nothing worse than being mad about someone that doesnt feel the same, still the chase is fun though!

Don't think I have. If he's off limits due to a gf/husband etc then I find I have lost interest as soon as I find out. Otherwise, there's few things to stop you having that person if you really want them...unless you're already attached.

I want one of the best friends of a guy I just stopped seeing earlier this week. However, I think the best friend (though I heard he called me 'Hot') is keeping his distance as to not screw over his friendship. It sucks. All I think about is the friend and we don't even talk.

It's human nature - when you can't have what you want it becomes more mysterious and alluring. Plus, no one likes to think that someone doesn't want them, so the urge to prove that they do becomes stronger. It's the forbidden fruit - sweet, delicious and juicy lol! Or is it........??
