Someone threw the packaging away so I am unable to return or look for any directions. Any suggestions. I guess I am wondering does universal remotes require some sort of programming.

For instance, the pagan story -- Epic of Gilgamesh -- historically preceded the book of Genesis by hundreds if not thousands of years. It was being forced upon the captive Jews in Babylon (the diaspora) and the book of Genesis was written in a somewhat parallel matter to turn their pagan story of multiple gods into a one god story -- Yahweh. Therefore, if we read the pagan story, how can we be so silly as to believe that Genesis was to be interpreted literally and not figuratively?

Also, what does it mean when a guy uses your name a lot in a conversation? Like, you're talking to him, and he'll be like "Yes, I agree (name), instead of just like "Yes, I agree." and that sort of thing.

Not sure what category this question belongs in. If you can't name one purchase, then name three by category. Example: I bought a 1960 Stingray for $8,000 on ebay motors, or I bought an antique doll for $40 that was a collectible in mint conditon, only it wasn't listed as a collectible. If you believe in a omnipotent, omniscient deity what makes you think you are in any position to overrule his/her teachings?

What gives you the right to pick and chose?

(I am aware that almost nobody follows all of the teachings. But being a non-religious person I don't see where people can follow some of the teachings and not be contradicting themselves). "God is almighty and knows everything, well except this one thing, he was really off his rocker when he said this."

Please don't give me any "it's open to interpretation" or "religion is subjective" garbage. I find it rather convenient how a lot of catholics/christians/etc in one case will wholeheartedly defend a cause saying that "this isn't right, it's not how God intended" yet in another case say that it's their interpretation of the holy text.

This was on a test for one of my classes and it's driving me crazy:

In a population, 1 in 25,000 people suffer from cystic fibrosis, a recessive disorder. Calculate the frequency of the dominant p allele, the frequency of the recessive q allele, and the frequency of heterozygotes.

I'm just curious what you get for answers, I already (for the most part) know how to do these problems, I just don't think the answers I got were right. The equation for allelic frequency is p+q=1, and the equation for genotypic frequency is p^2+2pq+q^2=1, in case you forgot. Aaaaaanyhoo, thanks!

ok when I start my car i have to have the key still pressed forward for it to stay alive. If i let the key go It will die. Basically what i mean by pressing the key forward is when you start your car you have to turn the key forward, and i have to keep it there or it will die. the car make is a oldsmobile achieva 95-96 model, V4 engine.
