Well, the somewhat offensive middle school way to remember is, "Left is right and right is wrong."
But, it doesn't really mean anything at all anymore, as piercings have become so common.

the common opinion is the right ear indicates being gay but I have both pierced and 3 kids from 3 different women to prove I'm not gay so although that is what mainstream society says it's not hardly true

it used to be the right side, but these days, alot of guys have both ears pierced and are straight, though alot of guys that have both ears piecred are gay also. lol I wouldnt think it makes a difference these days- not to me anyway
