looking for a song from the 90's?

the story is about a guy that gets up at 5 a.m. and gets in the car, the seats are cold, going to get his girlfriend (her parents are out of town), she's balled up on the couch. They drive to the city to have an abortion and he can't go in with her so he sells what he has to buy her some flowers. The drive home is silent..... if you know this much you know the rest. My son-in-law received a final paycheck for a construction company he worked for. He deposited the check in his account and wrote checks against it to pay bills. The pay check bounced and now he is responsible for overdraft fees in his account at the bank. The contractor has agreed to cover the bad check but not pay the additional fees. Under what law can he take the contractor to small claims court to recover the overdraft fees and any additional damages?
