Yes in fact I married my brothers best friend. But we were in our 20's when we started dating. It is not OK that he wants to make out with you in secret and then go get a girl friend. If he truly likes you he will be honest with your brother and tell him he wants to date you. If he cares at all about ether of you he will be open with his intentions

You are selling your soul by doing this with him... I would let my brother know that I had been seeing his best friend and that we have become close...
I would not allow anyone to take me for granted or use me for any reason.If he can't ask you out on a date or in public,,, there is something seriously wrong here... Now you know this guy is out for himself and whatever he can get.... You are at the losing end of this situation...
Tell him he is a louse and do it in front of your brother....
I am interested in seeing what your bro says about his friend taking advantage of his little sister.....
Don't be anyone's fool. you deserve so much more... He is a cheat and a player and has a big ego.....

It sounds like you have already made your decision... the situation does sound a little complicated. I'm guessing you're his younger sister... in that case, it is not ok to just "hook up" with him, anything you two do will have long term ramifications and should only be done in a serious, respectful manor, which doesn't sound like he is doing. You don't just make out with your bestfriend's sister, you have to take her out and treat her like a lady. You need to be strong, and tell this guy how it's gonna be:)

It's fine that you like him. If you really need reassurance, then tell your brother that you REALLY like his friend, and if he would mind you two going out. But the guy has a right to go out and get a gf if you two aren't going out yet.

my brother is my best friend; but he cant be really like any best friend; because sometimes i have to be careful in certain things; especially with my relationships; we go out together; have same group of friends; and we have so many things to talk about; he is 12 years older than me; and he was away for a while; so we always have things to talk about and i learned from him a lot...

Just remember to take your brothers feelings into consideration. After all it is his friend and if you date him and then bad things transpire between you then he may and his friend will not be friends anymore. Talk to your brother and his friend and see if it is all in your best interest, be mature and don't rush into anything unless you are really sure.

May be you should first speak to your brother about it and share your thoughts, don't let your action result in your brother loosing out on a friend, as it may lead to unnecessary misunderstandings.

He goes to get another girl other than you? thats no good unless you dont ind him being polyamores.
I dont know him or your brother but your brother might become very strict with his best friend and maybe uncomfortible.

I think you should'nt date your brothers friend because you got to think about your brother's feelings that your going to date his best friend . then your brother going to have to act different towards you because your dating his best friend. and i think the guy who likes you is just playing around so he can get in your pants so you better be careful what you ask.
