I find it hard to be myself with others and convey who I am. I feel people are always judging me so I don't fully express myself - I don't talk enough about myself or my opinions.

Does anyone know of a good book (self help or other) which helps you accept yourself and enable you to open up? (prefeably a non-cheesy American-style book)!

If there were no reward (salvation, eternal life, eternal happiness, etc) would we still believe? Or do we just believe in the usefulness of believing? People SAY they believe but if they really did they would be completely and utterly devoted to God and spend all their time for their religion. So do we all just believe in the usefullness of believing?

By out there, I mean both throughout the world as well as on Yahoo answers.

And why are there so many of them asking/answering questions in the Cats section of Yahoo? There are nowhere near as many sick questions and answers in the other Pet categories. What is it about cats that seems to bring out the psycho in so many people?

I love cats and have always had them in my life and always will. If people don't like cats why can't they just ignore them? I do understand that some people get annoyed by other people's cats doing their business in their gardens - but there are plenty of safe, effective and above all HUMANE ways of deterring them.

I always vote down the sicko questions and answers and report them for abuse but I still feel impotent and fervently wish I could do more. Anyone any ideas? (I have reported one "person" to the RSPCA in the fervent hope that he can be traced - see my recent answer). But beyond that?

Is it so bad i refuse to pay for them?

I HATE...when my friends expect me to pay for them...two friends in particular....they will purposely go to the movies with me and not bring money...I usually go with 2 friends to the movies....and there's always that one friend...that expects someone to pay for them... I'll only pay...if tehy're doing something for me...
After school when i have to go to the mall...I always take someone with me....if I didn't warn them ahead of time I'll give them a spear bus ticket or some bus fare... b/c i asked them to go with me last minute... my Mother always tells me..."Never pay for friends if they purposley...didn't bring money...or didn't bring enough of it enough of it"

I'm currently working as IT developer using ASP, SQL SERVER. Now i have got with an offer to be working only with SQL SERVER's DTS Package and with DataWarehousing.

Is it good to be only with database side ? Does it helpful for my career ??

This is an oldie but always liked it.

Back in the Soviet Union, two men are siting in Gorky Park talking. One of them had just gotten back from a trip to America. On the trip the group stopped at Disney world and he came back and told his friend all about it.

"They had everything.. Rides, attractions,and places with weird names: Tommorrow land, fantasy land, science land, and more.
