If you're worried about the cancer spreading the answer is no. If the man is receiving treatment, some medication should be kept away from women and children. Also if the man has had radioactive seed implants he should stay away from women and children for a period of time. Most say this applies to pregnant woman and women who might wight to become pregnant as the medication and radiation might effect unborn children and children who haven't reached full growth. Good Luck!
