How do I download music onto my MP3 player?

I have this MP3 player that I have had for a few years... but I have never figured out how to put music onto it.. some one please help meeee!!!!

you either plug mp3 player into USB socket on computer or use a mini usb to normal USB lead**, use windows media player to 'rip' your favourite cds onto it.. also, use 'limewire' and download then virus scan songs to put onto player....

** connect mp3 player... make sure all your music is ready in one file, then open the file.select: 'view/select-all' in the left hand side will be 'move or copy to' , select your mp3 from the box that pops up.. when your finished hover over the player symbol in 'my computer' and click on 'eject disc' and unplug!. easy x

You'll first need to get the music onto your computer. Copy and paste the music into your computer's "My music" file. Then you can send the music to your portable device (via USB cord) by doing the same thing. This can all be done from my computer. (My Music is under My Documents)

so simple
Just connect it to the Pc then you'll find it inside My Computer Window as a removable drive
So copy the MP3s you want and paste them into it
the right click on it and select Eject
Finally remove it
