I know that whenever a friend is going through something stressful or bothersome you should provide a "listening ear" (as you would want the favour returned) but why is it that whenever I give a listening ear a particular friend, after listening to her I feel so stressed or depressed myself. I hate feeling this way. Has anyone else ever felt this way or is it just me?

hello,

i am 15 and my parents dont trust me. i havnt really given them reason but i guess they dont. they said they want to take me to be put on birth control. can they make me be put on it? can they make me to the go to the gyno?

This is for my mother age 36, she recently found out that she has a syst on her overy and it may be cancer. About 5min ago she had major pain in her calf musle of her leg. Her discription of it was that it felt like the musle was being riped in half. I need to know if there is any possible medical correlation between the syst and the leg pain. Please only relivant responses from qualified and licenced medical workers.

Even though the Supreme Court ruled that Bush's NSA warrantless wire-tapping program violated the 4th Amendment and the FISA, he is still going at it. When something he does is not allowed, guess what he does. He tries to pass laws to make it legal! That's what he is trying to do, just like when he violated the Geneva Convention. I don't think this man respects what the Supreme Court says. That's my opinion.

With schools making it so easy to get suspended these days, how many young people who hate school get suspended on purpose? With mandatory attendance in most states, do you not think the easiest way for someone not to go is get kicked out? Also do you think forcing people who do not want to be at school is a factor in the increasing violence and problems in schools?

I haven't had an easy life. Only two things have ever given me hapiness. One is Jar Jar Binks, and I'm sure we can all agree that he is the funniest thing ever. I have tons of relatives, I mean TONS. And me being on crutches (I'm having ankle surgery) and having all those people there,at Thanksgiving, I think It's going to be very rough.

Also when I go back to school, I'm afraid I'm going to get murdered inbetween classes. Kids are going to be staring at me like I've got oranges growing out my nose, they're going to be trying to trip me, and how do I carry my bookbag, and my lunchtray, ect?

I'm thankful It's not a major operation, but the aftermath will be rough, any advice, or tips you can share with me?
